Experiencing Rome in LA at Mother Wolf 🐺

This exclusive restaurant in Hollywood has gorgeous decor and a beautiful ambiance. I love the vibe and aesthetic of this spot. It made me feel like I was enjoying an evening of carbs in Italy. The entire menu is in Italian which adds to the immersive experience. I liked that the placement of the kitchen is in the open space of the restaurant so you can physically see the chefs making your food. The customer service was impeccable and I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing. For a restaurant that feels high-end, the dishes are fairly priced for the amount of food you get. I recommend ordering family style, and definitely start your meal off with one of their signature salads which are so fresh and flavorful! Overall, @motherwolfla is a great place for date night or a celebration with friends. Check it out!

Come to dinner with me! MXO is a new (only been open ~1 month) restaurant in LA. It focuses on wood-fire cooking, while paying homage to Mexican cuisine. The aesthetic and ambiance of this place is sexy sexy sexyyyy 🎶😉…food and drinks are great too. The customer service was good as well, everyone was accommodating and personable. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would visit again to try some more of their menu. If you’re looking for a place to go for a birthday celebration, girls night or date night, this is the place to be. Check it out!

What I ordered & recommend:
• Grilled cabbage Caesar - a fresh take on a classic dish
• Sweet potato taquitos - so different yet so good, nice flavor
• Pescado a las brasas - yummy grilled sea bass
• Papas bravas - crispy on the outside yet soft melt in your mouth on the inside potatoes
• Amor Ardiente - a citrusy smoky refreshing mezcal cocktail

Chips and a variety of salsas come with the meal as well as a salad and your choice of flower or corn tortillas. I want to try their lobster ceviche, yellowtail aguachile, bone marrow mollette and of course, the steak next time! Who wants to come? 😋

Tbh, I was hesitant in writing it to begin with because I felt like I was in no place to ‘teach’ or help others build the life they want when mine is still very much a work in progress. However, me writing this blog post, IS progress. I want to use the challenges I’ve dealt with in my life to help you understand that you are not alone, and that getting happier is possible. 💫

The post features some key takeaways and insights I gained after reading the book, “Build the Life You Want The Art & Science of Getting Happier,” (I highly encourage you to give it a read btw). Approaching life as a mystery presents an opportunity to adopt a mindset of curiosity and wonder.

I’ve been tested in many ways over the last few years but it has taught me to be patient, stay alert and have faith. I have learned how to sit with discomfort and treat uncertainty as a powerful stranger, an enemy that benefits me. I’ve continued to focus on what I want, and allow my purpose to drive me towards the success of my vision. I encourage you to do the same. Whether you came here for my wardrobe or my wisdom lol, I’ll leave you with a gentle reminder…do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and make a trail. ✊🏾

It’s one of those “clubstaurants” that has live DJs at night - great for a day party lunch or an evening dinner celebration. Good food & drinks. A bit pricey for the portion sizes IMO, but you’re definitely paying for the experience which I think is worth it! I would love to come here again at night! Make a reservation in advance to secure the seating you want because it can get busy pretty quickly. THS has multiple locations but if you’re in the area, I recommend checking it out!
