Athleisure has been my go-to style lately, especially during the weekends or those busy days where I don’t have the time to put much effort into my outfit. For those who aren’t familiar with athleisure, here’s a simple definition from good ole Wikipedia:

Athleisure is a trend in fashion in which clothing designed for workouts and other athletic activities is worn in other settings, such as at the workplace, at school, or at other casual or social occasions.

I know it sounds backwards to wear workout clothes without the intention of working out…but I think that taking gym clothes out of the gym and into your everyday wardrobe enables you to increase the versatility of your style in a fashionable and comfortable way.

For today’s post, I put together an athleisure lookbook that details 3 ways to style your activewear:

1) [ Joggers ] + Cropped Hoodie/Sweatshirt

2) [ Leggings ] + Oversized Sweatshirt

3) [ Training Pants ] + Pullover

I hope this post gave you some ideas on what to wear when you go running…errands, haha. If you don’t want to actually wear activewear brands (ie. Nike, Adidas, Puma, Alo, Champion, Lululemon, etc.) then I would suggest looking into your everyday clothing brands and see if they have an active or sport line (Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger are some of my faves).
